With a clear sense of structure and purpose
Tobias helps projects move forward smoothly while keeping collaboration at the center. His work as a Product designer and product lead shows how empowering people to lead together creates stronger results and even stronger connections.
As Antire and Minds and Co. grow closer, Tobias’ story captures the values both teams hold dear: curiosity, cooperation and genuine respect for how people work best. His ability to bring structure without hierarchy mirrors the reason Antire chose Minds and Co., to infuse the renewable energy tech field with agile thinking and a people-first approach.
When I first graduated, I started looking for many jobs and ended up working as a teacher in a gymnasium. And while doing that, I was also looking for other jobs. The reason I ended up here was because this was one of the few places that hired people with my exact background.
A lot of the things that I get motivated by is to see that the project is going forward. I appreciate the flexibility and opportunities to engage in various areas. The structure allows for personal development and participation in projects like rebranding, which wouldn’t be possible in larger companies. However, it can be challenging to balance responsibilities, as project work often takes precedence.
Yes, yes. So I think I really like that it’s not a software consultancy where it’s just one person sitting on the customer’s side all the time. But it’s actually a team of us working together with the company and on a day to day basis we are working a lot more together with people inside Minds and Co.. We are doing a lot of support with our customers while having a lot of discussion with them. But at the day to day it is your colleagues that you are actually working a lot with. I think that’s really nice.
I feel like this company is focused on hiring people with a similar way of working that makes it easy to talk with everyone and participate in various projects.”
Yes. I feel like it’s not like I’m walking around being concerned that somebody who’s my manager would be like, what is it that Tobias is doing? Because I feel like all of what I’m doing is contributing to either the company on the inside or to the team and the project for the customers. So, in that sense, the structure feels very flat.
I feel like this company is focused on hiring people that have (to some extent) a mental model and way of working, which is quite similar to what makes people so easy to talk with and have this setup where everybody can talk to everybody and come with questions to all of us and so on. I feel like the company is really good at getting new people into the culture and being part of scale of minds, Minds and Co. And then I just really like when we have, for instance, lunch here at the long table sitting all of us. It’s just a free space where you can talk about what you have on your mind and so on.
