Welcome to Life at Antire, where we highlight the people who make Antire a dynamic and meaningful place to work. In this article, we meet Rohan Kumar — an Integration Specialist whose path has taken him from India to Norway and into the heart of Antire’s innovation around integrations and AI.
With a long-standing interest in computers, Rohan pursued a Master’s degree in Computer Applications in India. Over the past 14+ years, he has built extensive experience integrating enterprise applications across both on-prem and cloud-based iPaaS platforms, including solutions from Oracle, Microsoft, Boomi, and others.
Rohan’s connection to Norway began through a global company he worked for in India. That opportunity eventually led him to relocate, and in early 2024 he joined Antire as an Integration Specialist.
What drew him in was a strong alignment between his background and Antire’s focus on AI-driven solutions.
“With Antire focusing on AI-driven solutions and my experience in integrations, it was easy for me to find my purpose here. I can combine integration expertise with new AI technologies to create more intelligent workflows and real impact.” Rohan says.
Alongside client projects, Rohan is also trusted with multiple internal responsibilities, including managing Antire’s Microsoft 365 services, an opportunity he sees as both challenging and motivating.
When asked to describe the culture at Antire in three words, Rohan doesn’t hesitate:
Innovative, because ideas are encouraged, explored, and supported.
Respect for the individual, because everyone’s unique contributions matter.
Working outside my comfort zone shows the trust Antire places in me, and that’s something I really value.”
Rohan’s days usually begin with a 9 a.m. stand-up meeting, where the team syncs on progress and plans. From there, no two days are exactly alike.
Because his role spans customer projects, internal IT, and Antire’s AI value center, his schedule often includes a mix of planned meetings and ad-hoc requests.
“I focus on planned tasks first and then handle ad-hoc requests later in the day—unless something urgent comes up. The flexibility keeps things interesting.” he says.
One of Rohan’s most memorable projects at Antire involved integrating an AI-based invoice processing system with NetSuite using Oracle Integration Cloud.
The project came with multiple challenges: a tight delivery timeline, a single instance serving development, test, and production environments, and the need for strong isolation between them.
Through in-depth research, experimentation, and a proof of concept combined with timely product updates, Rohan helped design a solution that addressed both architectural complexity and delivery speed. By creating a reusable integration framework, the team was able to collaborate efficiently and deliver on time.
“There were many discussions and whiteboard sessions in the early days, but in the end, it was all worth it.” he adds.
Rohan may not play football often on the field—but digitally, he’s a striker to be reckoned with in Rocket League.
If you embrace learning and are willing to work outside your comfort zone, Antire might be just the place for you.”
