Welcome to Life at Antire, where we highlight the people who make Antire a dynamic and meaningful place to work. In this series, we delve into the journeys, expertise, and unique perspectives of our team members, offering a glimpse into the culture that drives us.
In this article, we meet Akshatha Pai and uncover their story.
Akshatha Pai’s journey is anything but conventional. With a Master’s degree in Spacecraft Control Systems and over 14 years of experience, her career has taken her across academia, robotics, and consulting.
She began by teaching Mechatronics, then moved into a robotics startup before transitioning into consulting. It was during her time there that she discovered her passion for solving problems at the intersection of technology and business.
“The common thread has always been systems… I just love the challenge of turning technical complexity into something that actually makes sense for the people using it. Today at Antire, I get to do exactly that - helping companies design and implement systems that actually support how they operate every day.”
At Antire, Akshatha works as an ERP Delivery Lead and Solution Advisor, specializing in ERP implementations and technology consulting. She leads projects across industries including Maritime, Energy, SaaS, and professional services.
Her role spans the full lifecycle of ERP delivery from understanding client needs and mapping business processes to designing solutions and guiding implementation through to go-live. A key part of her work is ensuring alignment between business requirements, system design, and execution.

“I’ve always loved the challenge of a new puzzle,” she says.
Akshatha joined Antire after moving to Norway, back when the company was still Ratio Management. Her first project, developing an internal customer portal, gave her a deep understanding of the business from the inside out.
Since then, her role has evolved from solution advisory to leading full-scale ERP deliveries. What continues to motivate her is clear: “There is a unique satisfaction in turning technical complexity into operational clarity… and seeing it work better in practice.”
Akshatha describes Antire’s culture in three words: Trust, Collaborative and Bold.
“You’re given true ownership of your work and the space to think differently,” she explains. “While we value structure, we aren't afraid to be bold… sometimes we colour outside the lines if it means finding a better way to solve a problem.”
She also highlights the strong team dynamic: “We don’t work in silos… we have an amazing group of colleagues who truly support each other.”
Her day is a mix of status meetings to keep projects on track and focused time for deeper work. Collaboration is key, both internally and with clients.
When working with clients, she takes a partnership approach: “I focus on understanding their day-to-day so we can shape a solution that actually fits how they operate.” The work environment is open, with space to challenge ideas and improve outcomes. And when it’s time for a break, the team keeps things light: “We have a ‘zero work topic’ lunch policy… and a notorious reputation for discussing a lot of unhinged ideas.”
One of Akshatha’s proudest achievements at Antire was leading a high-speed ERP implementation for a carveout from DNV. With a strict six-week deadline and a highly complex environment, the project required careful prioritization and strategic thinking.
Faced with intertwined legacy processes, multiple systems, and strict compliance requirements, Akshatha focused on delivering a pure MVP strategy. As she puts it, “I had one job: ruthless prioritization of the ‘must-have’ operations.”
The goal was to ensure operational independence for the new entity while maintaining seamless financial reporting to the parent company. Through this focused approach and a “people first, process second” mindset, the team successfully went live without compliance gaps or operational downtime.
For those considering a role at Antire, Akshatha highlights curiosity as key:
“You’re given a lot of trust and the space to figure out better ways of doing things… so don’t hesitate to challenge the status quo.”
She adds: “We don’t do silos here… if you enjoy turning complex problems into something that actually works for people, you're going to have a lot of fun with this team.”
While we value structure, we aren't afraid to be bold by questioning processes or solutions. Sometimes we colour outside the lines if it means finding a better way to solve a problem for a client.”
