Meet Ravichandran Ramamoorthy, known as Ravi, who leads Application Maintenance Services at Antire. He brings a wealth of hands-on experience from telecom, transportation, manufacturing, Oracle ERP, and business relationship management to his role.
Over 26 years of IT experience
With over 34 years of experience, including 26 years in IT, Ravi has held diverse roles spanning deal shaping, business development, offshore delivery, and program management. Before transitioning to tech, he spent seven years sailing as a marine engineer in the merchant navy. Ravi was born and raised in India, and having lived and worked in the USA and UK.
Now, at Antire in Oslo, Norway, he’s bringing this wealth of experience to build and operationalize Antire’s Application Maintenance Services (AMS) while also consulting on program and project management.
Beyond work: Running, trekking, learning cross-country skiing
When Ravi isn’t shaping strategies, you might find him running half marathons—he’s been participating in the Oslo Marathon since 2014. An avid trekker, he’s completed over 30 treks across Norway in the last 12 years, embracing the country’s breathtaking landscapes. He’s also passionate about nature photography and reading. And while he wasn’t born with skis on his feet, he’s now embracing Norway’s winter culture by learning cross-country skiing.

What drives your purpose at Antire, and how does your role bring meaning to your work?
The factors that inspire me most at Antire are its ‘people-first’ mindset and its focus on AI-driven solutions, which are critical in today’s market.
My journey has taken me across industries, from telecom to manufacturing and across geographies. I have held management roles for global companies, giving me valuable insights that I will bring to Antire as it transitions from a consulting company to a full-fledged solution services provider.

Ensuring project success for clients
What does a typical day look like, and how do you collaborate with clients or colleagues?
A typical day for me includes a mix of structured meetings and informal discussions with colleagues, which often spark fresh perspectives on tackling customer challenges. These interactions help refine solutions and create better project strategies. As a consultant, I also play a pivotal role in ensuring project success for external customers, bridging the gap between business needs and technology execution.
Can you share a project or achievement that you’re particularly proud of?
I thrive on challenges, and one of my most memorable moments at Antire was stepping into a customer project in its ninth week of a twelve-week timeline. The project was flagged as red, and my mission was to turn it green.
The challenge was aligning the customer’s expectations with the delivery team’s understanding of the scope. With my domain knowledge, I was able to bridge that gap, refocus the team, and deliver the agreed solution on time. The turnaround ensured project success and opened doors for cross-selling additional solutions.
